The Antique Car Club of Pembroke is closing in on a half-century as we enter our 49th year!  Established in 1963 as the Model A Ford Club of Pembroke, it is the oldest such club in the upper Ottawa Valley.  As MAFCP, we enjoyed affiliation with the Model A Ford Club of America and over those years their publication The Restorer carried regular accounts of Pembroke Chapter events.  Much of this history can be found on-line today with a simple search. We were also a member of the National Association of Antique Automobile Clubs of Canada NAAACC

It was in 1977 that the club  changed its name to address the diversity of makes, which often is the basis for friendly rivalry at meetings or on tours.  Good fun might be the best way to describe the ACCP.  Our meetings, social events and of course our tours are an enjoyable venue for the use of our vintage vehicles.

The ACCP enjoys an ongoing involvement in community affairs with displays of antique and classic cars and in parades all over the region.  We have a colourful history of tours locally and to far-away places and a reputation for hosting many vintage car tours visiting the Ottawa Valley.  In 1967, we were a memorable feature for most on the Centennial Cross-Canada Antique Car Tour.  As a follow-up, numerous members participated on the 1975 Cross-Canada Tour.  Since then our tours have brought us to New York State, Dearborn, Michigan, Oshawa,, Kingston, Muskoka New Brunswick and P.E.I. and much Pontiac County Quebec.

If you like old vehicles and enjoy events where you can hit the open road and share the spirit of nostalgia and camaraderie then we invite you to come to a meeting or tour as our guest to check things out.  Meetings are held monthly on the first Wednesday evening.
